The rules for this league are quite simple. The goal is to keep the rules as minimal as possible yet still maintain a respectable game.

Our leagues are intended to be close to a realistic game of football. I will not use the term "sim" because that can mean all sorts of things. Do not run all out blitz every play on defense. Do not run hb slip screen every drive on offense. It is ok to use the same play more than once, but please try to create a scheme that is similar to a real NFL coach.

Game Settings/In-game rules:

8 min quarters (20 accel clock)
All-Madden Difficulty
No CPU Trades
Injuries On
Fatigue On

1. If you quit - you forfeit the game. If there are connection issues, please try to replay with your opponent if you are disconnected or there is a game error as soon as possible. The first time you quit you will be issued a warning. The second time you quit - you will be removed from all leagues on this site.

2. 4th Down Rules

- You may go for it on 4th down if it is 2 yards or less and inside the 50 yd line
- You are not winning by more than 7 points
- If you are in the 4th quarter and losing you can go for it on 4th down regardless of yards
- If you are losing by more than 10 points, you can go for it on 4th down any time you feel it is needed

3. All trades must be approved by the commissioner. Post in the "Post your Trades Forum" for approval on trades.

4. You must check-in on the forums in the weekly check-in thread one day before the game deadline. If you do not check-in, you will be dropped from the league and your opponent will play the computer unless we are able to find a human replacement. If you will be going out of town, you must let me know in advance so arrangements can be made to save your spot in the league. Unfortunately, the league must go on and can not be put on hold for one player.

5. Franchises will be advanced every 2 days at 11 PM EST. (these dates may be adjusted as needed but will try to keep a regular schedule)

6. Blocking Field Goals and PAT - You may attempt to block FG/PAT as long as you run a FG block play and do not attempt any kind of glitch. If we see people using glitches we will have to ban FG block attempts again.

7. Motioning WR is allowed but the WR can not be motioned to block between the tackles or guards.

8. Do not manually move multiple defensive players pre-snap to set-up nano blitzes. LB/D-Line/Cov shifting is fine.

Trade Rules:
Draft picks may be traded this year. We will keep track of draft picks in a specific topic. Its jonboi817 will manage trades for Primetime and xDazedNConfuzedx will handle the thread for Remix.

Trade Cap:
Season 1 - 5 Players max per team may be traded away (1 draft pick = 1 player). 3 players per transaction max (meaning you can only trade up to 3 players in one trade). There is no limit on transactions so if you want to trade 5 players each to a different team that is fine.

Season 2 - 7 players max per team may be traded away

Season 3 beyond - 9 players max per team may be traded away

Free Agency:
We will hold free agency draft for the first week of Season 1.
